Calligraphy

Long before the dawn of the alphabet was calligraphy. It is the art of writing, as described by scholars. It creates structures to signs but in an inventive way. The classical calligraphy is focused on history but the characters are expressed with fluidity. Typography and non-classical hand-lettering are usually mistaken with classical calligraphy. Modern calligraphy on the other hand is usually associated with abstract styles but the clarity of letters is still considered. Calligraphy is actually in progress. It has influenced the documentation process of the world. Invitations, religious art and graphic designs have already regarded calligraphy as an art.
