Ceramics
Ceramics is both an art and science. The context of ceramics being an art is in producing, creating and making objects out of clay and other similar materials which are treated through firing. However, composite materials of ceramic and metal are also becoming increasingly popular to contain ceramic materials. Popular examples of ceramics that we are all familiar with are the earthenware and porcelain.

Several ceramic pieces are under the classification of the so-called fine art. Nevertheless, many of these pieces are categorised as decorative, industrial, applied arts.
It is educating to note how ceramics are prepared. Usually, from clay, an object is formed and then subject it in a very high temperature.

Ceramic products are often being utilized as household materials, as in the case of white wares and tableware, tiles, crucibles, and the like.
