History
History is the study and chronological recording of the past. Before technology became the most dependable tool for preserving history, there were oral recordings and word-of-mouth traditions being passed from one generation to the next. With the advent of pen and paper, historical records became written and kept in libraries as annals or books. These practices of recording information from one era to another have made modern people understand the evolution of race, culture, language, and civilisation.
