Humanities
Humanities is a vast field of study wherein various academic disciplines are involved. It has relevant influence to the visual and performing arts since its methods mainly uses analytic and critical approaches. Humanities is one of the major subjects required by art schools in order for individuals to obtain their art degree. Similarly, taking up a course in Humanities enable students to connect their art to different cultures and traditions which is innate within every society and human interaction. Artists are able to balance their creativity and purpose through related social science courses. As a whole, the study of humanities can also influence an artist to be responsible in their art.
