Linguistics And Human Languages
One of the most interesting subjects of interest especially in university studies is the study of human languages. In particular, linguistics is the study of the structure and development of a language, and is usually offered as part of university course offerings. It is the formal study of human languages and is further broken down to particular topics of interest. English is one of the human languages that is popularly studied. The major areas of English linguistics are composed of phonology, study of phonemes, morphology, syntax, rules of grammar and semantics. Other human languages studied include Latin, Greek, Spanish, and many others.
