Literature
Literature is simply defined as the art of written books according to Wikipedia. This area of humanities focuses on written arts published with the intention of entertaining and enriching a reader with the author’s cultural inclinations and life perspectives. Literary works bear historical representations of the age it was published and depict a unique imagery of fictional or non-fictional stories. Literature bears many genres. These include autobiographies, biographies, diaries and journals, electronic literature, and fiction. Furthermore, the fictional category further branches out to adventure novels, children’s lit, comic novels, crime fictions, fables, fairy tales and folklores, fantasies, historical fiction, horror, medical novel, mystery fiction, political fiction, romance novels, sagas, satires, thrillers and science fictions. Readers who have specific literary preferences most likely read and delve into these publications for the primary purpose of entertainment.
