Philosophy
Philosophy is defined in the Wiktionary as an academic discipline that is often divided into five major branches: logic, metaphysics, epistemology, ethics, and aesthetics. Philosophers love knowledge and love wisdom derived from this area of study. In studying Philosophy, one must realise that there are branches of specialisation that further break down the complex topic of philosophy. In most academic subjects, philosophy of science, philosophy of mathematics, and the philosophy of history also exist. Also, because of Philosophy some academic subjects, such as Psychology, Anthropology and Science, have emerged independently but strongly adhering to philosophical theories and concepts. One interesting discussion among practitioners is the meaning of Philosophy whether it is “the love of wisdom†or the “wisdom of love†or maybe both .
