Sound Art
This is considered the newest form of artistry because even practitioners cannot agree whether it is music as an art or art music or sound art. Whatever is the correct definition, it is something distinct that aims primarily to please the auditory sense of the audience. It is the artistic combination of music, produced or artificial sounds and the imaginative use of sound technology that creates an “artistic experience†in listening and hearing for the audience. As a young art form, it greatly relies on the environment or location where it is performed to bring the intended effects on the audience using the science of acoustics to maximum effect.
