Symbols

In design art, symbols are deemed significant.  A symbol is any sign or insignia that represents something that has an independent existence.

a symbol of strength or stoic endurance

In the ancient design art, symbolism has been greatly manifested.  The early artists, who are already famous these days, were fond of incorporating symbolism in their artworks.  Integrating such symbolisms is the artists’ way of extending the message of his work by subliminally getting into the subconscious level of the viewers’ mind.  This practice has also ignited the perceivers’ imagination to work in order to understand the message that the artist wanted to convey in his artwork. The vagueness of such symbolism explains the artist’s unfathomable perspective toward his work.
